Sparx: Season 2, Episode 5

Using AI without prior knowledge – with building blocks from the cloud

Markus Winterholer, Delivery Practice Manager at AWS, introduces the various machine learning applications in the AWS Cloud and explains how with them you can use artificial intelligence even without prior knowledge and programming skills.

Machine learning and artificial intelligence have become an indispensable part of our everyday lives. In the business world, companies are increasingly using these technologies to tap into new markets, make better and faster decisions and improve operational processes.

Or as Markus Winterholer, Delivery Practice Manager at AWS, puts it: "Machine Learning is one of the most disruptive technologies of our generation." According to Winterholer, this technology will become part of more and more applications, fundamentally changing the way we interact with computers. However, building such an application yourself is time-consuming and complicated – isn't it?

Not necessarily: there are ways you can use machine learning for yourself without having any experience in programming. In his "Sparx" talk, Winterholer explains how this works and what role the cloud plays in this.
