"Golden Like" for Christoph Hugenschmidt

Key Visual The Golden Like

Journalism is often accused of focusing on negative things. We want to prove the opposite with the "Golden Like" and, fittingly, award the first one to a man from the same field as us who also goes innovative ways so that the IT scene always stays well informed.

by Oliver Bosse

Every day we are being flooded with information. Many relevant things are lost in a pile of bullshit in which hardly anyone can keep track any more. Salvation is one thing above all: good journalism, people who stand up against this degeneration of the media world. And good journalism still exists - even in the IT industry.

You are undoubtedly one of the greats, cutting out the bullshit, putting facts first. And you remain innovative. To be well-informed, all you need is an open ear, thanks to you. In the first Swiss Podcast of the IT industry, you and your guests dig up the most relevant stories of each week and ask the most burning questions.

As we don't have to explain to you, journalism is more than social commentary. Positive stories also want to be told, achievements celebrated and merits honoured. That's why we would like to award you with our first "Golden Like". From magazine to magazine, journalist to journalist - keep it up and thank you for your fire for our industry and exciting contributions, dear Christoph Hugenschmidt from INSIDE IT.

The beginnings of the IT industry are in the USA. Accordingly, the industry secretes a tremendous amount of marketing blah-blah. Everyone is always "excited", everything is "disrupted" every day and even Swiss federal councillors like it "digital" and "transformed". But sometimes information technology is underestimated. Technology and the giant wonder of the internet make it possible, for example, for a completely normal journalist to no longer just write stories, but to tell them together with his colleagues as a podcast. If possible without "blah blah" and "bullshit". Thank you for the praise!

The Format

In our format "The Golden Like", we regularly honour individuals or institutions with a short eulogy who, in our eyes, have earned special praise for their achievements or where the appreciative thank you is far too often neglected.

WE WILL OF COURSE DO OUR BEST AS WELL TO KEEP YOU UPDATED
