To strengthen our database specialist team, we are looking for likeable colleagues who have solid experience in working with PostgreSQL databases and Linux operating systems and who want to advance their professional career.

What you can expect

• Initially, the focus is on the installation and administration of PostgreSQL databases. You ensure a protected and high-performance database structure for our customers. For this you should have experience with the PostgreSQL HA solution.
• During operation, you work on and analyse problems that have arisen and resolve them. In addition, you protect our and our customers' databases against physical and logical errors.
• Ideally, you optimise our automation methods and develop them further.
• You can expect diverse and responsible projects, which is why we expect you to work independently, in a structured manner and on your own responsibility.
• You can expect a wide range of training opportunities and a network of experts with over 700 employees. We work together in different team compositions. Openness, team-oriented work and a healthy dose of curiosity are qualities we share.

What you bring to the table

• Analysing and optimising the performance of databases is also part of the task portfolio, for which you should have experience in Oracle/PostgreSQL projects as well as good analytical skills.
• You should be able to talk about your work with a wide variety of people and bring very good presentation skills as well as fluent German (at least C2 level) and good English skills. Other languages are a plus, but not a must.
