Oracle Data Warehouse Consultant (m/f/d)

We design and develop modern data platforms that help our customers generate the best possible added value for their business from their data. In doing so, we develop the right solution for the individual use case, for example, modernising a data warehouse or building a data lake or a real-time data hub. We also take care of the enrichment and quality of the data so that the data platform can become the foundation for a data-driven business in the future. To achieve this, we rely on our proven vendor-neutral architecture blueprints and standardised building blocks. We use modern tools with a high degree of automation to implement the solutions efficiently and with a high level of quality in a sustainable manner.
For this purpose, we are now looking for you as Oracle data warehouse consultant to join us in transforming data into added value for our customers.

What you can expect

  • You design and develop innovative business intelligence and data warehouse solutions and integrate data from different data sources.
  • You elicit customer requirements, translate them into technical definitions and ensure successful implementation of the results.
  • You use modern tools, methods and standards for the implementation of the solutions.
  • You support and advise our customers in the implementation and introduction of new solutions and bring innovative ideas to your projects.
  • You take on the technical management of projects or sub-projects of varying size and complexity and grow with your tasks.
  • You benefit from our training programme, constantly learn new technologies and become part of a network of experts.
  • No matter where you work – at the customer's site, in our state-of-the-art office or in your home office – you can work independently and handle freedom professionally.

What you bring to the table

  • You have a solid IT-oriented education (e.g., data engineering, computer science, software engineering or IT) or several years of professional experience with comparable skills.
  • You know a business intelligence tool such as Tableau, Qlik, Cognos or BusinessObjects from practical experience.
  • Your strengths lie in query-oriented database development using SQL, PL/SQL, or a comparable query language.
  • You are familiar with the common DWH architectures of Inmon, Kimball or Data Vault – if not, you get to know them with us.
  • You work with one of the common database technologies (preferably Oracle RDBMS) and use an ETL tool for data integrations (e.g. Talend, ODI, Datastage, Informatica or SSIS).
  • You have already implemented database solutions and put them into production as well as worked in agile project mode, for example according to Scrum.
  • You also have a good knowledge of requirements engineering or IT business analysis.
