Data Engineer 80-100% (m/f/d)

We design and build modern data platforms: on-premises, in the cloud or hybrid. We rely on transferable and replicable solutions with our own tools, standardised building blocks and architectures, a high degree of automation and third-party services.

To this end, we are now looking for you as a data engineer to jointly transform data into added value for our customers.

What you can expect

  • You develop data processes and analytical solutions for our customers in various industries based on state-of-the-art technologies and thus make an active contribution to digitalisation.
  • You interpret business requirements and assist in the implementation of business as well as technical goals.
  • You integrate data from different data sources into central data platforms (data warehouse, datalake) on-premises or in the cloud.
  • You benefit from our training programme, constantly learn about new technologies and become part of an expert network.
  • No matter where you work – at the customer's, in our state-of-the-art office or in a home office – you can work independently and deal with freedom professionally.

What you bring to the table

  • You have a solid IT-oriented education (e.g., data engineering, computer science, software engineering or IT) or several years of professional experience with comparable skills.
  • You know a business intelligence front-end tool such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SSRS, Cognos or BusinessObjects from practical experience.
  • You are proficient in database development with SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, or a comparable query language.
    Ideally, you are already familiar with the common DWH architectures of Inmon, Kimball or Data Vault, or you are learning them with us.
  • You work with one of the common database technologies, such as MS SQL Server, Oracle or PostgresSQL and use an ETL tool for data integrations (e.g. Azure Data Factory/SSIS, Talend, ODI, Datastage, Informatica).
  • Existing implementation know-how with Microsoft Azure, AWS, Kafka, Snowflake, Cloudera is a plus.
