Our solution

HINT AG, based in Lenzburg, is a leading provider of ICT services in the Swiss healthcare sector. It was faced with the challenge of sustainably ensuring the quality of service to its customers in the healthcare sector and of making processes efficient and streamlined, while dealing with ever more complex requirements at the same time. High system stability and service availability are especially crucial to safeguard the operation of critical systems in the clinical environment with very short response times. The use of managed services became an interesting option for Oracle databases. The right symbiosis of personal responsibility and external support was important for HINT AG. To achieve this balancing act, the company was looking to establish a dedicated first-level team with knowledge of the customer-specific infrastructure and framework conditions which could then be integrated into their own service chain. HINT AG found in Trivadis the ideal partner to meet these requirements.

Easily respond to changes in the system landscape and new business strategies

As part of a 3-year SLA, Trivadis safeguards the operation, maintenance and support of 42 Oracle databases. The SLA scope was deliberately designed to be scalable in order to integrate further databases, if necessary. An active 24/7 monitoring service with a permanent staff of one person at a console has been introduced. Specifically tailored to the needs of HINT AG, the SLA offers a wide range of options in addition to operation, maintenance and support in order to respond to future changes both in the system landscape and with regard to new business strategies and to further develop the database platforms. For about 2 years, Trivadis has also been supporting HINT AG in optimising its entire database operation also on the basis of MS SQL technology.

Over the course of many years of cooperation, both sides were able to benefit extensively from the know-how gained. This was made possible by close coordination between HINT AG and Trivadis. It has always been possible to swiftly develop solutions to satisfy changing requirements. One example of this is the increased service flexibility achieved through the option to quickly and easily add or reduce service items.
