When I graduated from university I went to work for an American software company. The first years of my career were full of pressure to make sales, hard work and knocking on doors. Later on, I moved into training, and that’s when things started to become fun. I understood what customers needed and I understood that training is just as important an aspect of a long-term business relationship as consulting. It wasn't about closing a deal fast, but about quality. But the company and my boss saw things differently.
After two years I had enough of bosses who didn’t share my quality aspirations. So I got talking to two colleagues who shared my vision and we soon decided the only thing we could do was to do our own thing.
So we founded Trivadis in 1994. With no management hierarchies or organizational bureaucracy, we were free to focus on quality. We wanted to share our knowledge, deliver the best possible service to our customers and be proud of what we do. Our success proved us right, and just a few years later we had several hundred employees. Even today we still believe in the excellent quality and strength of our basic values: flat hierarchies, freedom for go-getters, inquisitiveness and team work.
I’m Urban, founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Trivadis. If you think and feel like I do, “You’re very welcome to join the team and I look forward to meeting you.”
