Trivadis has extensive expertise and years of project experience with products from the major database providers (Oracle, IBM, Microsoft) and also Open Source software.

Oracle database

Trivadis has ten years' experience of Oracle RDBMS and can therefore guarantee to make the best possible use of all the database features. From OLTP systems of several hundred gigabytes in size through to terabyte-sized data warehouses, we have pushed Oracle RDBMS to its limits. We also have extensive experience of complex, replicated environments and highly available (internet) databases.

Open Source databases

Analysts are suggesting that open source databases represent serious competition for the established database manufacturers. Open source databases, such as MySQL, are currently striking fear into the hearts of Oracle, IBM and Microsoft. In the internet area, this is certainly true of MySQL. It is no coincidence that LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP/Perl) servers are becoming a common feature of many IT environments. Trivadis, with its own dedicated research department in the Technology Center and a number of successful client projects, is already well-positioned in this area and can ensure that you choose the ideal solution to meet your needs.

Microsoft SQL Server

Microsoft SQL Server has become a permanent feature in the world of relational databases. Trivadis has been involved right from the start, which gives us several years of intensive experience of SQL Server. Databases, particularly in the Microsoft environment, are not isolated parts of an IT landscape. Therefore, we can also guarantee optimum integration with the middle tier and all other existing databases. SQL is not just a relational database. It also offers an excellent OLAP engine, which we have been working with in projects since 1998.

DB2

The times when DB2 and mainframes were inseparable have long since passed. These days, DB2 can be found both on mainframe systems (native or running under Linux/390) and also on decentralized systems (UNIX, Linux and Windows). Our Technology Center keeps constantly up-to-date with the latest information in this area on a non-proprietary basis. In its technical seminars the Technology Center demonstrates how, for example, DB2 self-management features have been improved.
